They're Growing Up

Here are the kids all dressed up for trick-or-treating on Halloween. We did all the obligatory stops and then did something that we hadn't ever experienced before....the drive along side routine. The kids ran from house to house having the time of their lives while we watched from the car. Both Tim and I commented on how old it made us feel to have kids who were so independent....they didn't need us to walk them house to house anymore! Before long, we will be sitting home wondering if they will be home by their curfew. I will hold onto these days of them being young and innocent as long as I can.

On another note......
On my list of favorite things; (something like Oprah's but not near as glamorous), is the Little Ceasar's Pizza drive thru. On a night like Halloween when there is lots to do and little time, driving up and having someone hand you pizza through a little window is fantastic! Posted by Picasa

First time in 10 years I have not gone trick or treating with these 4 little characters myself helping them up and down the neighborhood steps in their costumes...enjoy the moment.. and don't fret my dear, there are parts of them growing up that only get better and better with age. love, Momsie

It doesnt seem that long ago that you and Ryan were running from house to house at Stony Bar. My how time flies and I enjoy every minute I get to spend with them. Love, Grandma Bean
