Seriously?

In the last month, Kennedy has had the stomach flu, strep throat, bronchitis, and now....SPOTS! Dr. Mom (not wanting to drag her in to the doctor for the third time this week) has diagnosed it as Roseola. Any other suggestions/ideas?

Ria I am home today too..with intestinal issues..ahem ahem. Anyway she could have strep again. Ryan had a tummy ache with it, Liv had a cough, and Kate had a rash. They said if it feels like sand paper, it's a classic case of a scarlet fever type strep. Just my two cents...

Oh man ! If I end up getting that from her next I'm toast....still not back at work yet today...my best guess is what Bonnie says, a scarlet fever type of strep. I remember James having it as a child and it being very contagious ? Call G'ma Bean and ask her... I'm off to check for spots..Momsie

Ria,Jim didhave what Dr. called Pityriases Rosea when he was 3yrs. Rash all over. Dr said he had seen alot of it in Japan but verey rare here. Lasted 3 weeks. Not known what causes it. Skin got very dry from it. He did have scarlet fevor 5 yrs later. I was quite concerned as it appeared quick. Thats all I have written in his book and I cant remember anyhing else. BUT it seems Sandi had roseola once I will go through her book tomorrow. Gma B

hey Ria. I checked Sandi,s book and she did have roseola on her 1st birthday. Was not contagious as I had a party for her but she didnt play with the kyds. She also had chicken pox when she was almost 5 then Dr. said she had the 3 day measles with them but 3 months later had the bad red measles. I can relate with you with sick kyds. Hang in there. I also ended up with the mumps about that time. Gma B
