Ice Show 2007
All the kids will again be in this year's Ice Show at the Moorhead Sports Center. This will be Katelyn's 7th performance in the show (it would be eight except she missed her 3rd grade year because of that darn concussion). She is "Hannah Montana" this year. The boys are Timberwolves and Kennedy is a bridesmaid. The performances are at 7pm on Friday and Saturday and 2pm on Sunday.

It's Monday Again
We had a good time this weekend...lots of hockey and fun times with friends. The boys thought we should stay a little longer...four nights just isn't enough when you've got buddies next door to play knee hockey, swim, watch movies and eat junk food with. The girls got to have a fun time too...playing with their cousins, getting their hair and nails done, getting new clothes and going to a movie and Disney on Ice. No time to rest for this family...all this week we have skating practice for the big Ice Show this weekend, the boys start their 3x3 hockey league and Kennedy has her hockey banquet.

Keeping Score
Carter and Cooper had their end of the year tournament this weekend and it was the first time they had a tournament "bracket" and kept score....the first time winning mattered. They took 7th place which was disappointing for them, but they had lots of fun and a close-knit team who really enjoyed playing together. Plus, Sean and Tanner from the Spuds came to cheer them on so that made everything better. Cooper is #7 and Carter is #14. You can see one of Carter's goals in the beginning of the video.

We Lost
We took a bus with a bunch of friends and their kids up to the game in Thief River. We were all a little bit nervous for the game, but never expected a loss. It was tough. They are a great group of guys. We will still be going to the state hockey tournaments next weekend, but it won't be nearly as fun without our Spuds to watch.

My Days
The kids are all home from school because the teachers have conferences so it has been a little bit hectic...and noisy... around here. Thank goodness it is naptime and the little ones are all sleeping and my kids are outside enjoying the new snow. Ahhhh....quiet.
Katelyn snapped this photo of me today; this is what my days look like. I just love those babies!
