monday ramblings
First off, I'd like you to meet the newest member of our family....
In our hearts that is.... we fell in love with this little guy at the pet shop this weekend. We named him "Mauer" and dreamed of bringing him home with us, but our daddy said, "No. No No No. No WAY. Seriously, NO!!!" Poor us. He was the cutest little thing we ever did see.
Dad said he just loved his little princess Emme too much and he didn't want her to ever think she had been replaced.
Okay... that's not really what he said. But... she is his little princess even if he won't admit it.
On another note, Tim and I went to the movie The Hangover this weekend and laughed so.dang.hard.
We both agreed it was one of the funniest movies we'd ever seen. So go see it... but leave the kids at home. Just about every seen has something that is totally and completely inappropriate.

The girls painted rocks at Phelps Mill.
On Sunday it was my birthday so I got to choose the activities! First we went to the Flea Market by Detroit Lakes (which nobody else enjoys, except my COOPER!) Then we went to Go Putt & Bump for mini-golf and go-karts, and finally to Zorbaz on the lake for supper.

Jack and Ella even came to watch one of Katelyn's performances!

And Carter has continued to have traveling soccer tournaments each weekend. I broke out the long lens a couple of weekends ago when he played in Fargo.

I think this was the 6th time we've seen Kenny in concert, and we never get tired of it. I'd have to say, though that this concert was the best one yet. (It could have something to do with the killer tickets we had...) See you next time Kenny.

The entertainment for the night was comedian Myron Noodleman!

***On a little side note... Tim and I woke up this morning to cupcake wrappers and sprinkles in our bed, and just about everywhere else thanks to the dog. After having gotten into the birthday garbage during the night, she was not feeling so good this morning.

Here are his brother and sister paying very close attention to their brother's game...
We had to bring Emme with... she was such a good girl but got alittle hot with all her long hair!
Tim wore his hat backwards for the whole day on Saturday and got this really great tan line across the middle of his forehead.
